Orange Chicken is a popular soup served at Chinese restaurants.This orange chicken dish made with chicken,orange juice,lemon and cornstarch. It is simple to make.
- 200g chicken breast
- 2 talespoon cornstarch.
- 1 tablespoon sugar.
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 lemon
- 1 egg
Cut chicken into 1/4-inch thick.
Use a sharp knife to cut vertical slits into the chicken.
Toss chicken with salt.
Add pepper powder.
Squeeze 5-6 drops lemon juice over chicken.
Add 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
Add 1 egg.
Mix well and marinatefor 5 minutes.
Squeeze lemon juice and set aside.
Add lemon juice to orange juice.
Add 1 talespoon cornstarch.
Add 1 tablespoon sugar.
Coat the marinated chicken with the bread crumbs.
Heat olive oil in a wok until about 50% cooked,add chicken anddeep fry.
Fry the chicken until golden brown and crisp,transfer to a plate.
Bring water to a boil,add juice sauce.
Reduce heat to a simmer,simmer until sauce has thickened.
Pour sauce over chicken and serve hot.
